Welcome to the 8th Ajax Scout Group - an amazing adventure for boys and girls aged 5 to 26. Scouts have a lot of fun discovering new things and experiences they wouldn't have elsewhere.

Scouting makes a difference in the lives of children, youth and young adults. Providing youth-led opportunities, members determine what areas they would like to grow in as they achieve new “firsts” and develop into global citizens. With a versatile array of program areas to focus on, Scouting welcomes youth with diverse interests and goals.

Through Scouting, youth are more likely to demonstrate greater self-confidence and optimism about what the future holds and how they will impact it. They express a strong sense of civic responsibility and environmental awareness, extending their “pay it forward” attitude to the community. They become more healthy, energetic, outgoing, conscientious and compassionate – and they have a lot of fun! In Scouting there can be found a stimulating environment and inclusive community – cultivating the youth of today to become the contributors of a better tomorrow.

Scouts is the start of something great.

Beavers (Senior kindergarten to grade 2) - Embark on adventures like camping, hiking, playing games and even having campfires—all the while making great new friends along the way! Only 2 spots left

Cubs (grade 3 - 5) - Using the Jungle Map of balanced program activities as a guideline, Cubs explore new challenges and plan adventures as a Pack. Together, you and your fellow Cubs will navigate the very same jungle that Mowgli roamed in The Jungle Book. The jungle is a fun place to seek out new challenges that you can face either as a Pack or with your Lair.

Scouts (grade 6 - 9) - Take Adventure to the next level – planning becomes more hands-on as your Troop blazes their own trail. The possibilities before you are vast, which is why some of Canada’s greatest trails are used in the map’s symbolic framework for Scouts on The Canadian Path.

Venturers (grade 9 - 12) - Push your potential. With support from your Company, climb the mountain of your aspirations to reach a personal summit. The Canadian Path Venturer Scout program is an opportunity for you to explore your own capabilities and experience an exciting variety of adventures with others who share your passion to “Climb Higher”! With the support of others in your Company, you will set goals and meet them over the Scouting Year.

Rovers (age 18 - 26) - The world awaits. Enjoy good times with others who share your values and challenge yourself with personal goals for future success, with support from a mentor. In Rovers, you’ll explore your ambitions and work to accomplish them in a stimulating setting. It is by following a cycle of Personal Development Plans that you make your way to The Portage – the final leg of your Rover Scout journey.

Scouters - Our Volunteers generously offer to share their time with the Scouting Movement. They are a vital part of an extraordinary world of learning and great safe adventures where they guide and mentor a terrific group of young people.  Their commitment, time and energy — without it, we couldn’t deliver our dynamic and engaging programs.
